Is Japan's LIROSA Water Cream any good?

LIROSA's Original Water Cream is an ALL IN ONE comprehensive facial cream. It systematically addresses dry skin, oil-water imbalance, skin elasticity, and early aging symptoms by softening—replenishing—penetrating—and locking in moisture. The effects last for 8-12 hours.
Depending on your skin's condition, it can be used in various ways: as a day/night cream—exfoliator—mask—sleeping mask—after-sun repair cream—hair conditioner—body oil—hand care. The Original Water Cream provides comprehensive care for skin all over the body.

The versatility of this water cream comes from its ingredient ratio of 80% water + 20% oil, which is consistent with the oil-water ratio of healthy skin. It contains 15 skin-beautifying ingredients that have been refined and electrolyzed for cosmetic use, creating a gel-like moisturizing cream. It is free of preservatives, fragrances, mineral oil, and colorants, making it safe for pregnant women, babies, and those with sensitive skin.

The 20% oil in the water cream is composed of rosehip oil, avocado oil, argan oil, and olive oil. Even beginners know that these ingredients hydrate, moisturize, provide antioxidant benefits, and lighten dark spots and acne marks. There are no unnecessary additives; just a simple recombination of several ingredients, making it an excellent choice for many who over-indulge in skincare.

Are such simple ingredients really effective? After more than ten years of skincare, I focus only on oil and hydration. Moisturizing and hydrating are the keys to good skin, more important than any cutting-edge technology or high-end ingredients. Well-hydrated skin is elastic, firm, and naturally radiant. All skincare goals, such as anti-aging, whitening, and reducing spots and wrinkles, can only be achieved when the skin is fully hydrated.
The cleverness of the water cream lies in its ability to provide both water and oil. The 20% oil content is crucial for locking in moisture and preventing water loss. At the same time, oil nourishment helps repair the skin barrier, restore the skin's self-healing ability, and prevent signs of aging such as dehydration, fine lines, and loss of elasticity.

With the theoretical groundwork done, let's talk about the experience of using the water cream:
1. When used as a mask: Paired with a silver mask: No matter how thickly the water cream is applied, the skin absorbs it all. The moment the water cream is removed, the face feels incredibly soft and bright. After wiping off any residual cream with a soft tissue, you can proceed with other skincare steps. Not paired with a silver mask: Apply the cream mask evenly over the entire face, including the neck. After about twenty minutes, the face may feel a bit oily, indicating that the moisture has been fully absorbed by the skin (don't worry, it won't cause breakouts).
Rinse it off with a cotton tissue and clean water; you'll find it incredibly refreshing, not oily at all. Your face will be fair and tender, and it will remain moisturized and soft even after a night's sleep. Note: Do not rub the water cream roughly, as that's exfoliating … The experience of using the water cream is completely different with or without a silver mask ~ Absorption is better with a silver mask, of course, but even without it, the Original Water Cream is an excellent hydrating mask.

2.Used as body lotion: After showering, apply two pumps of water cream to your body. It doesn't feel dry or create pilling, and the experience is much better than many professional body lotions. Body lotions with good moisturizing properties are usually thick, while refreshing ones often lack sufficient hydration … However, the water cream is both refreshing and moisturizing. If you've bought the water cream, ladies, give it a try when you're out and about.
3.Water Cream Exfoliation: Apply a cherry-sized amount of water cream to your face. After ten minutes, when the moisture has been absorbed by the skin and only the oily residue remains, gently rub it to see colored particles come off. The water cream is translucent when squeezed out, and the rubbed-off particles are gray, which indicates how dirty your skin is. After exfoliation, your pores will feel like they can breathe freely …
4. Lotion and eye cream in one bottle: At 30+, wrinkles are the biggest fear! In fact, many wrinkles are pseudo-wrinkles caused by dehydrated skin. At this point, it's all about hydration, hydration, hydration! When the skin is adequately hydrated, dry lines naturally disappear. On lazy days, I don't feel the need for a heavy face cream, so I often just use the water cream on my face. Sometimes, if I apply too much, I even put it around my eyes, and it doesn't feel dry at all.
